I have refuted Einstein's concept of space-time continuum. I feel the need of a clarification on this issue. Space is a created entity, very subtle and super-elastic. It itself is matter. It is not a vacuum or a void. It is full rather than empty. Being the subtlest state of matter, it holds all material bodies that are reletively grosser than it. Being subjected to gravitational force of other material bodies, it is curved in different directions. Space is not relative. The three dimensions of space, that is, length, breadth, depth or height, are relative with reference to different observers moving at different speeds. The time-dimension is also relative. All the four dimensions, mentioned here, are mental constructs and relative. But time itself is a non-entity. Time is a mental construct with the occurrence of two or more events. There is no time in an imaginary eventless universe. I may give two other examples of mental constructs with phenomenal meanings.. Darkness is not a real entity. The absence of light is darkness. The blue sky is not a real entity. Still darkness and the blue sky are not nonsensical with regard to our mental perceptions. When we speak of velocity, necessarily involving dynamics, we cannot escape from the occurrences of events. And so is the inseparable association of the three spetial dimensions and the one temporal dimension. Otherwise, space which is a real entity cannot be continuous with time which is a non-entity.
Cosmology, theocosmoogy and neocosmoogy This is the first topic which I will elaborate in my subsequent postings.

A Cosmic Connecting Link
It is not correct to think that space is an absolute void or vacuum. The adjective 'absolute' is not necessary. Space is not empty at all. It is full. It is material; a very subtle form of matter. It is extremely elastic. It is finite; not infinite. It is curved, the curvature varying in degrees, depending on the mass and the vicinity of the celestial body. Contrary to the classical thought, it does not contain ether. Neither does it contain any other entity, material or otherwise. It itself is matter. Everything of the universe is connected with everything else. Space is the connecting link. Hypothetically let us say, "Space a void or is absolutely empty". A massive body pulls space and curves it. This statement means that the massive body x does not pull anything and that there is no curving at all. All entities of the universe are not separated from one another. We are all connected, connected intimately. Nobody or nothing is separated from others. There is nothing like action at a distance.

Interrelationship between space and time
Space is an entity, an elastic matter, very subtle. Time is a non-entity. Time is a mental construct when more than one events occur. Space has three dimensions - length, breadth and depth or height. The three dimensions are non-entities, mental constructs. The three dimensions of space and the one dimension of time are relative. When two items move in space with different velocities, motion is associated with the time-dimension. Thus space and time are inter-related. However, there does not seem to be anything like space-time continuum. Imagine an event -less, motionless universe. Then only will the clarity of the concept be clear. This concept is a deviation from the Special Theory of Relativity of Albert Einstein.

Space, the subtlest, most elastic matter, is itself an entity. It does not contain ether or anything like that. It is neither void nor vacuum. It is homogeneously full. It connects everything and everybody in the universe with all. There is nothing like separateness. This space-matter, being subtle and elastic, is pulled by celestial, massive bodies and hence is curved in different degrees at different places, depending on the mass of the pulling body. If we appreciate this fact, Newton's dilemma of action at a distance evaporates. For further details, please see my books: 1. Cyclic Universe and 2. Bhagavadgita

N.C. Panda's concept about time
He refutes the concept of space-time continuum of Albert Einstein. He thinks that time is a non-entity> It is a mental construct. When more than one events occur, the concept of time is born in the mind. However, he does recognize the time-dimension that is related with the three space-dimensions that are mental constructs too. All these four dimensions are relative. N.C. Panda does not consider space as relative.

Relative space or relative dimensions of space?
Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity says: Space is relative.
Dr. N. Panda says that the three dimensions (length, breadth and height) are relative. These dimensions are mental constructs. They are not real. They can be anything from zero to infinity. They are relative
Space is created matter, very elastic. It holds material bodies. It is not nothing. It is full and material. It does not contain ether or any other constituent. But it is the source of matter and energy quanta. It is full, not void, not vacuum.
